Conjure Up A Meal In The Outdoors With Charcoal Grilled Chicken
Charcoal grills are usually used for barbecue cooking. Everyone of us loves to cook outside on the grill. It becomes a pleasure and something that everyone can enjoy. Nothing beats the taste of a smoky flavor of meat done through a grill. Additionally, an outdoor grill creates a good atmosphere for people who loves to relax, camp out and chat with friends and family on a warm summer day.
Are you planning for an outdoor picnic and wondering about what to prepare? What is good about grilling is that you get a lot of options on what foods to cook beyond burgers and steaks. The options are truly endless and only comes down to your own personal choice. Grilling chicken is one menu that is easy and inexpensive. And preparing it can even be simpler. Grilling chicken not only enhances its taste and flavor but also helps retain all its nutritious elements if done properly. Here are a few tips on how to cook charcoal grilled chicken making it perfectly moist and juicy all the time:
-
The cooking time for grilling chicken depends on the kind of chicken you will use. Because most foods cook fast on a grill, the chicken needs to be turned evenly so as not to burn it and lose its juiciness. The ideal time is every 4 to 5 minutes.
-
Overcooking can dry the chicken while undercooking will make it raw and spoil the entire chicken. Do not use too much salt as it causes the juices to be drawn out leaving your chicken dry. Knowing the right time and the right texture will keep your chicken moist and perfect in your mouth.
-
It is best to use tongs rather than a fork when turning chicken.
-
Rub a little vegetable oil or any non-stick cooking spray on the grill to keep your chicken from sticking.
-
It is up to you if you want to marinate your chicken or not. If you do, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator with just the right amount of barbecue sauce and then brushing on more while you grill.
Outdoor grilling is truly a fast, easy and fun way of cooking meals for the entire family. So better fire up that barbecue grill and enjoy some outdoor cooking!

Interesting hub ... but it is best to be aware that the barbecue should not be too hot so that the outside is charred and the inside of the chicken is raw because this will not just spoil the chicken as you put it but it will also put you at risk of salmonella poisoning.
Also it is important to know that barbecuing food encourages the cancer-inducing (carcinogens) HCA (heterocyclic amines) and PAH (polycyclic aromatic polycarbons)( to form on the meat.
I don't mean to rain on your parade so I guess it is a case of everything in moderation ...
Thank you for the nice comment. Will take note of your suggestion about too much commercial writing...:-)
Thank you so much for the nice comment. Salmonella poisoning is really something we should take seriously. It is always best to prepare food safely and cook foods well.

Welcome to HubPages. Very good tips for even experienced grillers. One word of caution, be mindful of not being overly commercial in your writing
